Master's Program

Graduate School of Science and Technology
Major in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Producing graduates equipped with a specialized education in, and broad perspective of, electrical and electronic engineering.

This major is built on four education areas - “Electronic Properties,” “Circuits,” “Energy” and “Telecommunications” - and is focused on new material and device development. Graduates are equipped with a broad perspective and specialized knowledge in advanced electrical and electronic engineering indispensable to the fundamental technology upon which our advanced information-oriented society depends.

Areas of Study

  • Electronic Properties

This area of study is focused on theory and application related to new material development, production processes, new electronic device design, etc., necessary for IC, LSI and VLSI development/production and/or electrical machinery and equipment design, etc.

  • Circuits

This area of study is focused on theory and application related to electrical circuit engineering technology and other technologies related to performance and functional enhancement of various functional circuits associated with signal generation, processing, transmission, etc., for a broad range of hardware.

  • Energy

This area of study is focused on theory and application related to large-scale energy systems dependent upon computer-driven information processing technology, power electronics technology industry applications, alternative energy development, etc.

  • Telecommunications
